Family Portraiture:

Family portraits are a great way to freeze time, especially when children are young and changing so much from year to year.

Try to refrain from telling your child to say “cheese,” this usually produces an unnatural smile. However, coming to the shoot with some funny stories in your back pocket works wonders. I try to keep the mood positive and encouraging.

Choose outfits that complement each other and that suit your family’s style. Try to stay with 3 to 4 colors and stay away from logos, pictures, writing and too many different prints.

Feel free to bring any props that you would like to incorporate into the pictures. I will do my very best to include them.

Relax and have fun! I will try to take candid and posed pictures. Please let me know if there is a certain style or pose you would like.
